11 Jul 2007 - SCHOOL SPORTS DAY 2007
There are always a lot of questions about sports day. Who will run? What fun race will we do this year? Will my parents make it in time to watch me? Who will win? Will it rain?
Each and every child took part in the morning's activity. 21 teams were made up of children from each year. They ran, threw, jumped, batted and passed footballs over and under. All to win points for their house to be carried forward to the afternoon.
Sports day is always a family affair and 2007 didn't disappoint. People arrived for a picnic, the Friends as usual put on a great refreshments stall and the battle began.
All afternoon children competed they did their best, some won some didn't, but all the points counted.
Gym Club treated us to a display which proved to me that children are very bendy! Well done.
Mr Hart then adressed the crowd and revealed the results.
WELL DONE TIGERS.
Well done everyone
